A Bright Light Has Gone...
Today the world lost a great light.
At 12:38 this morning my dad passed away in his sleep in Hospice after battling three types of cancer.
My sister Beverly was at his side when we went.
This past two months since he was admitted to the Rockyview Hospital with hip pain and difficulties walking has been the most difficult for all my family.
I’m trying to take solace in the fact he is now at rest and knows peace.
But it’s very hard when you lose your greatest hero.
I can only hope that my Grandma and Grandpa were the ones who came for him to guide him on his way.
Rest well Dad, you have very much earned it and I love you ver

So as most of you know I am a rabid Battletech fan/player and Demo Agent for the game.
And finally after an ungodly amount of time I have a place in the basement to get my minis out of storage and on the shelf to take stock of what needs to be painted, repaired or is fine.
Now I have been playing this game since September of 1988. And while
My force is far from the size of a full SLDF division, I do have a substantial force of roughly 5 Battalions worth of Battlemechs.
In the process of sorting minis while listening to the score for the game Overwatch, I have come to three realizations.
1) I need WAY more Aerospace assets.
